We’ll be running this coming Saturday at PARX in the Mrs. Penny Stakes. We’d actually hoped to run on Sept 1 in a PARX allowance race with a $90K purse, but despite getting 17 entries (!!), they didn’t choose to use our race. As some of you know, PARX has doubled their purses on claiming and allowance races, so right now the allowance races are like stakes races. The allowance race didn’t pan out, so we’re in for the stakes!
They got so many entrants for the Mrs. Penny Stakes that they split it into two races. I think we got the easier field, since ours doesn’t have Nellie Cashman in it, but there are still some VERY nice stakes horses in our race. We’ll be one of the underdogs for sure.

Sassy Little Cat 
I hope the 5th is not at hot as it’s suppose to get to day for the race.Pam has me staying in today do the weather man saying it’s a code red day. Not good for heart problem or COPD people. I’ve got a plastic storage cabinet with a work top that needs to be put together. I had a wood cabinet that I had put on the out side wall under the front porch deck. Last week I stained the front of the cabin. I try to do one side a year. That wood cabinet was starting to fall apart after 15 years of weather out there. I’m replacing it with the new plastic I need to put together. I use it to store my bird food and suit and Pam’s garden tools for her deck flowers. Schwartz
