Sassy ran on 9/10/14 at Penn National in an Allowance Race for Fillies and Mares 3yrs old and up, non winners of a race other than maiden, claiming, starter, or PA restricted.

She broke out of the first and bolted to the lead along with the 6 horse. The jockey on the 6 was really pushing it to take the lead, and Sassy was pretty much running off with the jockey in an attempt to stay on top. After some fighting with the jockey, Sassy was willing to drop back a little, although she stayed in 2nd until the final stretch.

Sassy was just edged out of 2nd and went head to head with the the 7 horse. She ended up 4th by a neck.
