Our trainer has decided not to enter Sassy in the Stormy Blues Stakes. We’re disappointed of course, but it is in her best interests to get a race in before running against such stiff competition.

So now she’ll have an extra week’s work in her and she’ll run against less exalted horses. Hopefully she’ll do a great job and position herself to get into future stakes races.

We’re shooting for the Allowance race for fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, which are non-winners of a race other than Maiden, Claiming, or Starter, or which have never won two races. This is on Thursday April 24th and will be 5F on the turf. Hopefull we’ll get in the race and it won’t rain!
