Sassy got in the race! For her 4th race she’ll be running in a Maiden Special Weight on the turf at 5.5 furlongs. There were 17 entries, but only 11 horses will run, so again she’ll be in a large field.

Sassy has the 6 hole, which is fine by me.
Right now it appears as though Julian Pimentel will be riding her again.
There is a mixture of first time starters, and some horses who haven’t done very well on the dirt who are making their first efforts on the grass. The 11 horse is Hotspur Harriet who came in 3rd against Sassy in her last race, about 3/4 of a length behind Sassy. HH looks like a very strong contender and I’m glad she’s way out in the 11 hole!

Sassy worked this morning which should tighten her up for the race next week.
