Tomorrow Sassy will be running her third race. This will be her first time on the grass and we’re hopeful that she shows some of the speed we know she is capable of.

She is the #2 horse in a 10 horse field. She’ll have to stand longer in the gate than she has in the past, and we’re hoping she gets out well.

Sassy had a super work this past Saturday on the Tapeta track at Fair Hill. She went 4F with a nice colt and despite the trainer’s expectation that she’d be left behind at the end, she in fact stayed ahead of the colt. Her official time was 4F in 48, and she galloped out 5F in under a minute which was great.

We’re all rooting for Sassy to have a super race tomorrow!
